Fortunately Philip is slightly ahead.

Friday night, April 2nd, after chantry hand off:

Stanley asks to stay at Henri's, given a key, drives there.
Henri gives Ichiro a ride to the monastery.
Henri and Darrol go to a bar Henri likes.  Dark bar, gothesques, and retros.
One of his friends has an odd medical device circa 1870, which Darrol
elaborates on the use of.  Social social social.

Ichiro was not allowed back in the monastery, what with the nasty
resonances stuck on him. Gets left out in the cold and damp, calls
Stanley for a pick-up and says "we need to talk".  Stanley picks
him up, and takes him to a secluded spot.  Ichiro chews her out for
acting without thinking in the matter of Doug.  Some reconciliation,
and deep talk.  Ichiro acting almost as a tutor.  And insufferably
smug.  Back to the monastery.

Saturday, April 3rd: (except for Philip's early morning VA activities)

Ichiro not let in until far after normal up times.

Stanley obssesively searches newspapers & TV for inklings of the previous
day's activities.

Henri sleeps in 'til 8, Lily calls at 9:30 asking about locating a node.
Darrol gets called in, and we go node-hunting.  Drive around a lot,
get hungry and cranky, stop for a walk in the park, and keep walking.
(~2:30 pm)

Darrol gets a bit creeped out.

Lily finds a flow of essence to an "abandoned" building at 19th and
Taggart. Henri notes address, etc. I say we should reconnoiter a bit
more -- not sure it is a node. Darrol sense life inside, then we move a
bit over, and he casts a circle of tobacco to get a closer look. 3 easy
to see, very live people, 2 near-death, but stablish.

Debate ensues -- Darrol wants to be the knight gallant, while Lily asks
"Is this our problem?".  Henri points out that it would tie things up if
the police found bodies here... Stan is called 3 pm.

[Ichiro get chewed out by Nakada off-screen]

Cut to Stanley and Ichiro, talking about how to minimize damage --
tracebacks to Callahan, as well as "karmic burden" minimization for
the parents. Track down numbers and mimic Dougs voice saying he's in
trouble, yadda yadda, flubbed a hit, almost killed an innocent.

Cut back to DHL: Stanley apprised of the sitch. "Stay there, and don't
do anything until I get there. Want me to pick up Ichiro?"

Call to Philip as well.  Yeah, yeah, he's coming.  2 more people come
in while we're waiting, one a women in less-than-perfect health.

They arrive.  Entropy senses.  Whole building boarded up, only front door
available.  We decide we're too conspicuous, and to split, and split up,
but maintain a surveilance.  Groups [Ichiro, Darrol, Philip] and [Stanley,
Lily, Henri].

Surveiling team heads to restaurant, while Darrol takes a walk to keep them
seen.  Does entropy/time/mind? to find "best time" to try to get in to
building.  Very fuzzy results, always pretty risky.  As Darrol walks past,
a guy from inside notices him, and Ichiro notices this, and scans his mind.
Almost alien "this human looks dangerous".  The group leaves, nowish.

Debate on what to do.  Injured might be "friends" of healthy group being
healed.  Don't think so, but.  Paranoia ensues, and we try to check if two
mages have gone missing recently.

Chakar and Stanley talk about Callahan.  Lily calls Heather and freaks her
out.  Ichiro calls Amelia, asks of Alex.  Philip calls VA, then Jacquie.
No answer on the second.

Plans plans plans.  Try lying in wait in a place he should be?
Leave the "node" alone.  Waiting for more VA info...

Day of mostly downtime:
Sunday, 4th.

Henri researches history of suspected node place.

Philip doesn't get a call back from Jacqueline.  Calls VA.  Suggest e-mail,
sent.

Ichiro lunches with Amelia.  Feels a mind-brush on the way -- apparently
Amelia.  They talk about why she left the Akashics, and sundry other things.

Philip tries to visit Jacqueline.  No answer on the door.  Knocks again,
finally answers, while Philip debates breaking in. Is she moving?
Staying. Philip flubs some social roles. Jackie asks what Phil's been
up to in a segue to slamming everyone else.  Goes on a walk.  Aww.
Phil says how he got in to the SoE.  Jacqueline explains why she left
the VE.  Cloned uncle -- "That's fucked up."

Stanley and Ichiro go visit Callahan.  Callahan and Ichiro talk while
Stanley gets tea.  His "death" explained.  Going to meditate in the Japanese
Gardens.

On the return, they stop for gas, and paranoia checks went off --
entropic magic.  It's da MIG.  Ichiro decides to talk.
[non-group stuff with Ichiro and Stanley.  They don't tell us everything,
the traitors.]  He gave us an address -- it doesn't match up with the VA's
address.   He says we need to deal with our busy little "friend" (Ron), the
technocracy will come down on us like a ton of antimatter.  "You know
where you're little friend came from, if you want an understanding of
where he is now -- address"  "Ron's eye is not always on you."
Exchanged numbers.  Was not surprised at Stanley. 

Darrol makes an Enigma role to figure out they're hiding something.
Lily asks about the death taint, and everything comes out.  MiG got pulled
in from the police investigation.  Anonymous tip -- ron.

Make plans -- Phil calls VA guy -- James -- with address. VA eventually
call back near 10, and Philip and he "go for some coffee", and discuss
plans.

Lily gets lessons from Tybalt, and fills him in on what we're doing,
and that the VA has been coordinating information about this.  Gets third
forces dot.

We meet back at 12 midnight, and plan to check out the neighborhood of
the address.

Mind shielding, from Nakada for Phil & Lily.

We head to the address given. Bad part of town, pimps, whores, drug
dealers. We head up to apt #. Heroin prostitute. We come back when her
high is wearing off.  Interrogation, with Horse as Face.
Ron did come here.  As did the MiG.  Ron also talked to another girl...
we follow the links...  Ron comes, "since you can't get away, have some
heroin."  Keeping people here...  Why?  Misery?

Horrible though of girls being pregnant.  Not the case.

Scene ends early monday morning.

Monday, April 5th.

Normal stuff, plus sleeping.  Lily takes Darrol to work, where we confuse
people, though he spends some time sleeping in the van.  Ichiro is with
Philip, and Stanley with Henri.

6:00 pm -- Philip gets a call from the VA and alerts the others.  He heads
over to listen to their "contingency plans".  Given a phone, and warned
that stuff will be noisy.  Blueprints unveiled.  Be out by dawn.

We head out, buzz as VA's shielding clicks in place.

We head in, jumping through a window, as the door was warded.  One person
in this room, practically catatonic.  We make our way to the stairs with
the feeling that the people here won't live long.

Nothing above, so we head down.  Corridor mostly clear, except near
door to inner chamber.  That has a purely mechanical trap and
prime on the door.  

So we decide to go through a wall.  Philip melts the brick into mud with
his "nanites".

Ichiro jumps in first, followed by Stanley.  Ichiro is frozen by Ron
and two fugly creatures go for Stanley.  Darrol jumps through and wacks
Ichiro to try to get him moving.  It sort-of works.  He's a bit slow.
Lily piles in and distracts Ron with a shot to the arm.  Uh-oh -- the
two creatures now see her as a threat.  Philip makes it in, and Henri
stays back to watch the exit and the door we didn't use.

Fill in more later...

Ron killed, we make it out, whole place goes up in flame, we rescue people
(Lily forces a fire alarm to work.)

Drive off.

Darrol and Ichiro talk all night.

Tuesday, April 6th.

Ichiro hauls Darrol to the monastery to see Nakada about the brain worm.
They have tea and red-bean mochi.  Amelia comes and he's clear.

...

We meet that night at Henri's and celebrate.  He's written up the raid.
