A trick-taking game that is a rather distant variant of Spades; each player bids some number of tricks, and you're trying to take that many tricks. Overtricks give smaller extra points but too many overtricks gives a big penalty. The twist here is that the trump suit is different every trick; at the start of each hand, a series of unused cards called the "Tide" are laid out for all to see, and those determine the trump suit for those respective tricks. For example, if the trick's special card is the "4 of waves", then "Waves" would be the trump suit. Somewhat akin to Euchre, the card also ennobles its rank. In this example, the other blue 4 is called the "knob" and beats all trump, and the other two 4s are called "off-colored knobs" and beat all non-trump. The game also comes with some special cards that allow you to, once per game, use some special abilities.

As you've probably figured out by now, although the deck is similar to a regular deck of cards, the suits are nautically-themed and the face cards have very different letters and rankings. The design is very functional and I liked it a lot. The game is reasonably innovative as far as trick-taking games go; much more random than Spades, unfortunately, but perhaps that's a good thing for some players.
