Wreck the Nation: the Game of Political Misbehavior(search on Board Game Geek)
This game is another pretty good example of a game where the theme is all and there's nearly no thought into the actual gameplay. There are very few decisions to be made -- almost every turn you're basically generating a random number and having something happen to you. The only actual decision point in the game is on 12 Monopoly-like spaces where you can do the equivalent of buying sets and collecting rent -- and that's probably 5% of all the spaces. A great game if you like mocking the current state of affairs of American government, and don't mind mechanically doing things without making any decisions (and, hey, I think there are actually people like that). But if you actually like playing games, don't buy this one -- you'll be disappointed. Return to Introduction |
