Music

I love music. I've been playing double-bass since I was 12 years old; that's my main instrument. I call it double-bass to distinguish it from electric bass. Even when I play in a band, I usually play the upright bass with a vibrational pick-up to plug into an amp. I also enjoy singing. I've written a couple songs. This is the first I wrote with a tune as well. Imagine these lyrics sung in a lilting, somewhat humorous way, by a woman in a slinky dress (it's definitely not a slow, sad or serious song). I've performed it once, with guitar accompaniment.

Tell me, darling, do you like my new blue dress? Do you like my makeup, how I've styled my tresses? Tell me, darling, do you like my high-heeled shoes? I would be so happy if you would just approve And say you love me, and you're loving every part of me, Give me compliments admire and flatter me, My self-confidence has gone off-duty, Tell me I'm a beauty, Tell me that you're loving me. - Tell me, honey, do you think I'm sleek and slim? Do you like my body, do you like my bosom? Tell me, honey, do you think my thighs are fat? I would be so happy if you would tell me that You love me, and you're loving every part of me, Give me compliments, admire and flatter me, My self-confidence has gone off-duty, Tell me I'm a beauty, Tell me that you're loving me!
