Lakers lose!
Lakers lose! Sweet. I'm a anyone-but-the-Lakers guy in
general, but it doesn't hurt that I also strongly dislike Shaq, Kobe,
Karl Malone, Phil Jackson, Rick Fox, and to a lesser degree, Gary
Payton. On first blush, it's hard to say what's the sweetest part. A
blowout clincher? The complete lack of Laker spirit almost throughout
game five? A blowout in game 3? The Lakers on the bad side of a
history-making series which featured the first home team to sweep the
middle of the 2-3-2? Or Detroit just "playing the right way", with team
spirit and great offense and mindboggling defense?
I think I've got to call it a five-way tie.
