Firefox
Two things:
I no longer have to hack
Mozilla/Firefox now that the excellent keyconfig extension for Firefox
is available.
The typeahead find noise is extremely annoying, particularly because
Firefox doesn't play it correctly -- it's cut off partway. So I was
driven to find the accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound config
option, thanks to the web, (go to the URL "about:config") and disable
it there.
So I'm pretty happy. I'm also happy with the BugMeNot, Image Zoom, Adblock,
IEView, Popup Alt Attribute, and Allow Right-Click extensions.
