Tim Ryan of Ohio

update Oct 15th: just found official transcript.

Matt Stoller passes along Ohio Countdown's notice of Rep Tim Ryan addressing the Rangel bill (HR 163) on the draft. Since the Congressional Record doesn't yet have Ryan's remarks (update: and it probably won't, but see above), as the Oct 5th Extension of Remarks is not yet available, I'll just post my own transcript here. Please be advised that the video has a cut in it, and I was unable to find any uncut clip or remark.

An mp3 was made of the video stream, as well. I highly recommend watching it or at least listening to it; the passion is in the delivery as much as the words.

I take all responsiblity for any transcription errors, if any.
