UNSCAM ... not credible yet.

I keep reading -- even nowadays on Usenet -- about the UN/Iraq "oil for food scandal". So it's amazing to me how people overlook Josh Marshall's posts on the subject, wherein he passes along the Economist's reporting that no one except the Iraqi National Congress and Claude Hankes-Drielsma (a longtime Chalabi associate) has seen the evidence of this scandal. And later, he highlighted one particularly incredible development: the data in two computers -- one in Iraq, one in the UK -- was "wiped out by hackers". Hankes-Drielsma went on to claim that the hacking was done at the behest of the US and UK:
